TCH3 Nation & Beyond - it is time for the TCH3 to take it's turn at moving the HashShit on the journey Across America. The anticipated handoff from the Palm Beach Areas hashes will take place next Friday, November 20th at 5:00pm(ish) at the Tequesta Brewing Company, located on US1, just South of the Martin/Palm Beach county line. The exact time will be worked out this week and updates will be posted as they are available.
The tentative plan is to bike the hashshit up US1 to Hobe Sound and take it for a beverage stop at Harry & the Natives and Scooters. After pictures have been taken and thirsts have been quenched, the hashshit will move on up to Pt Salerno via Dixie Hwy. The exact stops in the Salerno area are not narrowed down yet, but rest assured, we will find a suitable place to wet our whistles. Depending on the time and the energy level of the hashers involved, the hashshit may move on, towards the Stuart Causeway area.
The plan for Saturday, November 21st is to move the hashshit through the greater Martin County area, with the route including a swing out onto Hutchinson Island and a visit to the House of Refuge, Stuart Beach, Jensen Beach, The St Lucie County Line, Downtown Jensen Beach, The Mansion at IRSP, The Dolphin Bar, Frank N Steins, Downtown Stuart, and eventually Palm City. The exact route and mode of transportations are subject to participation levels of hashers, weather conditions and time. Due to these variables, a set "schedule" can not be posted at this time. As the time draws near, the picture will become more clear.
The plan for Sunday, November 22nd is to begin moving the hashshit West, towards the eventual handoff location of SR 70 & Hwy 27. A goal would be to get it as far as the intersection of SR 714 (Martin Grade) and SR 710, but the distance and stopping location will, again, be determined by participation levels, weather conditions and time.
All of that being said, we need the TCH3 Nation to show up and support this effort, not only on Saturday, but on Friday and Sunday as well. And, as it has always been, visiting hashers are welcome to join in the fun.
The final moving effort will take place on Friday, November 27th, and will begin from the stopping point from the 22nd. Again, participation is key and very much needed and appreciated. This success of this entire project is dependent upon collective efforts, and I know the TCH3 will do itself proud. Let us know if you are going to be coming out and what day(s) you will be joining the effort.
