TCH3 Nation & Beyond, it is getting to be late August on the Treasure Coast that means several things - Hurricane Season, Back 2 School and TCH3 RDR Weekend. Since Hurricane Season & Back 2 School are reasons to drink, but not really to celebrate, we historically do our celebrating with TCH3 RDR. However(comma), Covid is being a big turd in the punch bowl of life and mass celebrations are being frowned upon. Soooo, I propose a smaller, 'less than' version of the traditional TCH3 RDR.
The opportunities to hang out with other half-minds are as follows.
Friday, Aug 28th - TCH3 Happy Hour - 8:30pm Downtown Stuart - meeting location TBD - this will be an On Your Own for hash cash hang session. Downtown Stuart offers several spots to eat, drink and hang out in open air environments. This will be the pseudo version of the Surrender the Booty Social.
As a bonus opportunity to hang with Shack & Jersey, and maybe get a sweat on, you can join us for the Beach to Beach 5k that is taking place from Stuart Beach at 6:30pm. As of the writing of this post, there are 73 spaces still open. you do need to register on-line, in advance. No on-site or in-person registration is being offered. This is a good little 5k that will give us the opportunity to be around other folks who run and might be hashers but don't know it yet. Saturday, Aug 29th - Not, not Red Dress - 6:00sht at Shepard Park(600 SW Ocean Blvd, Stuart). Traditional Pre-lube, except, with the new TCH3 format, the wankers supply their own beverages of choice. The hash will also bring some beverages, just in case a wanker or two forgets. Hare away will be 7:00sht, and plan on venturing into the night for a strolling trail that will visit a few local watering holes and maybe a few new, fun surprise spots. More details may follow, so pay attention to any updates. Red Dresses are encouraged, or at least wear some form of hash attire. With the BYOB format, the hash cash will by only $10.00 to help the hares cover some of the fun fees along trail.
Sunday, Aug 30th - TBD. With the attendance expected to be lower than normal, I trust that the wankers can develop an acceptable plan for food and fun during the other shenanigans. This event, should it happen, will also be OYO4$$
That. Is. It. A stripped down version of the TCH3 RDR weekend. I am very proud of the fact that the TCH3 hash been able to offer live events on a regular schedule, and everyone has remained safe and healthy following each event. That being said, as always, personal protection is just that, your personal responsibility. Participate to your comfort level. Take the actions that YOU feel will keep YOU safe - wear a mask, wear gloves, wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, don't share food or drinks with unknown others, keep your distance from those whom you are not familiar or comfortable being around because of how they are choosing to behave. Any, and All of the these are Acceptable Hash Behavior. We want the continue hashing because hashing is fun and good for the soul. Staying safe & healthy is the only way to ensure that we can keep On On with the trails and the fun. That is it, PSA ended.
On On to TCH3 Traditions. If you have questions or want/need more information, contact Shack at 772-260-7048
